Access to this information can help the elderly, people with disabilities and carers to live more independently and make informed decisions about their lives, care and future. However there are so many different sources of information out there that finding the right information can take a lot of time, effort, prior knowledge and to a certain extent luck.

The Meath Care portal website offers a solution to the problem of finding relevant information on the internet. Links to websites providing a wide range of information and services are collected in one place, sorted and co-ordinated according to the type of information or service they provide. This will allow people to gain direct access to the information that they need when they need it, from the comfort of their own home.
